Now I Remember Why I Have This Blog

...Because it's not like anyone else but me reads it, I'M JUST SO BORED WHEN I COME TO THAILAND. I'm pretty sure about 90% of my posts in here are written when I'm stuck in this country, bored out of my mind because all I get to do it follow my parents around while they do things and I'm just bored.

Well I'm bored when we aren't shopping. Or eating. So it's half and half really.

I've been here for a little over a week and I'll be here for one more week before I go to Japan. So overall, I'll be away from home for a month. Japan will be awesome because I'm travelling around to see my friends and I'm just super super mega excited! :D

Anyways, what I've been up to in Thailand is just mostly eating and shopping, so this post will be about that. Yes that's all I do with my life when I'm not in school or at work. Eat and shop.

Sooooooo.. As usual... This was my outfit today!

Yes very sad little mirror pictures because I don't really have a camera anymore. Or the patience to take good pictures. Ha.

IT'S NOTHING SPECIAL. Because I've given up on looking good. I've started wearing less accessories and when I finally get around to buying some I wear the same ones with literally every outfit. You'll see when I post another coordinate here. 

Besides clothes, I usually splurge on getting all deco-ed out with phone cases and nails. So here is a phone case that I recently had made for me. It cost about 20$USD so really not too bad for a customized case. The little doll reminded me of well, me, so I put it on there :D 

I also bought some more phone cases that were like under 10$USD. So cheap ugh I just wanted to buy everything. Not having an iPhone sucks because there aren't BILLIONS of phone cases to choose from anymore! So I had to settle for buying 3.... 

As for my nails, I didn't go full out deco on them like I usually do, mostly because I want to save some money to buy stuff in Japan but also because I don't think I could wear them anymore without being annoyed. Well I probably could put up with it for how cute they are usually so mostly because I don't want to be broke in Japan xD I did however use gel instead of acrylic so the polish will last long without being too bulky on my fingers!

Just polka dots, nothing complicated.

So some serious time. Being away really makes me go crazy sometimes because I'm left alone with just my thoughts and it is kind of a double-edged sword, so to speak. Its nice because I'm never alone back home and I'm always running around doing something, and being able to enjoy myself and rediscover who I am and what I like is amazing. BUT of course, I'm also really emotional, attached, and cant handle change so it also makes me a little mental. I miss my friends, colorado air, and being able to drive around and go wherever I want to. I seriously had a mental breakdown because I was so homesick. Why cant I just enjoy lifeeeee. But fuck it. I'm just going to brush my hair and not think about the world.

So with that I will leave with a picture of my face and my pretty newly cut hair.

Ahhhaaaaaaa I look like I'm trying to smile like Tsubasa Masuwaka. With the lips thing.

 ... Or not. She's so cute I can't even. THERE'S NO USE COMPARING UGH.

Class for the working class...(plus 'the Avengers' nails)

Okay I don't really know what "class" has to do with anything here, but it's a catchy title right??

Anyways, I've been back at work for 2 weeks now and as a manager I can finally wear something other than that ugly uniform. To go with my work-casual look, I also want my makeup to look perfect and fresh everyday! I don't have a full body mirror at my mom's house so I can't show you pictures of what my work-casual outfits look like, but as always I can share my makeup :)

This is how it looks like. I tried to go for a natural, bright look which contrasts how I feel when I'm actually at work. I didn't used to do my full makeup everyday but ever since I did, people have been commenting that I look "happier" and "brighter" so I'm going to say its because of the extra time I've been spending in the morning to get ready. I wake up around 7am and finish in about half an hour which gives me time to make coffee and then head to work!

This is the color that I used for my eyeshadow from the Pop Beauty Goddess Clutch: Day to Play palette

Its a shimmery bronze/copper kind of color and I absolutely love it it gives my eyes like a certain glow to them. I put it on the bottom of my eyes and on my eyelids.

I've also started using the E.L.F Studio cool bronzer because I ran out of the Bare Minerals one that I used to use. I SUPER love this bronzer though and it was only $3 USD! So cheap and I think the quality is alright. It lasts like all day. It looks like this:

There are 4 colors but for this look I only used the right half of the palette. I like the darker shade to contour and then I use my mineralize MAC bronzer for the apples of my cheeks for a nice glow! And here is a swatch of all the colors in this bronzer:

They are pretty pigmented and like I said it lasts like all day! I highly recommend this product if you are looking for a cheap bronzer that really works. There are more shades to choose from as well and you can check that all out on eyeslipsface.com :)

BONUS.

I did my nails "The Avengers" style (the movie). It took me like an hour :)

 The top one is the left hand and the bottom is the right hand. The right hand was so hard omg because my left hand is retarded and cannot be controlled. But I think it turned out rather nice! Unfortunately my nails are all weak and flimsy from using acrylics all the time so these nails only lasted like 2 days QQ but I'm glad I got pictures of them at least lol.

Park Bom inspired makeup and NEW nails!

 I LOVE 2NE1's new album, especially the 2 recent songs "Hate You" and "Ugly". While watching their comeback I noticed that Bom's makeup was especially pretty! Her eyes are so big and doll like I love looking at them hahaha but I really loved the makeup in this performance. I tried screencapping parts where you can really see it but sorry for the bad quality!

Her double eyelids are like to die for omg *_* okay so then I tried re-creating this look but yeah... not very good at recreating looks. So it turned out like this:

And since I was going off a picture where her face was sad, I had to make a sad face too! LOL idk it still doesn't look like it xD But I like the makeup none the less. More pics:

Yep! Pretty basic. I think I'll try again tomorrow because I loveeee this look so much. And the songs! I can't get them out of my head. 2NE1 has never failed to make an awesome song, I can't even think of one I didn't like *_*

Okay and next... I went and got my nails done.. AGAIN. lol I know but travelling killed them so I had to go fix them and I just had to get a new design LOL. So here it is!

 No 2 nails are alike!! I love them so much the theme is like Sweets Party with Friends hehe feat. Hello Kitty and My Melody and a bear (which was supposed to be Rilakkuma but she messed up T_T)

Nails! and some new products~

Here's something new, I'm not saving the best for last! It's first this time ^^ Here are my new nails this time~

I got the painting (color and flowers) done at a nail salon, but I put the deco items myself! Hehe I think I'm going to say the big bow on the middle nail is like my signature now, because I LOVE having a bow on that nail lol :)

Recently, I bought this new eyelash from Daiso just to try out because well, Daiso is sorta cheap and I just wanted to see what the quality was like! Surprisingly, I even saw Popteen (or maybe it was Egg) using Daiso brand eyelashes haha.

 Yeah overall, I give this a 3/5 because I mean, its usable, but I don't think I would recommend it unless you super needed eyelashes. Like I did. LOL another reason why I bought this was because I ruined the ones I was using and I didn't have any more! We aren't going to go to the place were I usually get them for a few days so just had to buy something for the meantime haha.

I also bought this eyelash glue from the department store. Its called Lash Meister its a Japanese brand. I really like the glue, it holds well but I don't like colored eyelash glue. I prefer them to be invisible because I mess up so much :/ Anyways, so its like a dip jar like this:

And you apply the glue onto your eyelid like you would a liquid eyeliner. And then you put the eyelashes on top and voila! But I don't know I find this process very messy, and I would rather just put the glue on the eyelash first xD

Next thing is a lip liner from Gino McCray that I bought from Beauty Buffet. I've been really wanting a lip liner for a while to try out that fuller lips look that I've seen so many YouTube beauty gurus doing! I bought an orange shade to go with the lipstick I normally wear.

So the result of all of that? Here it is!

 Do I look any different? LOL idk. So anyways some more shots cause well.. yeah  :P

On a side note, I think I can pull of "cute" way better than "sexy" xD But I want to do both :(

Black dresses & Nails follow up :D

Following up on my little black dress post, here was my outfit today! Inspired by all those pics and especially the cute casual one :)

My mom happened to have a black dress so it was perfect! Even though I was running so late today I still managed to get dressed the way I wanted to. -celebrate!- :D

Here are some shots of me today. AND guess what! .... I finally found a way to make my eyebrows lighter, lol. I know, its something I should have done a long time ago but seriously no matter how much I bleached my eyebrows they would NOT get lighter! I tried so hard and just gave up. However, the method that I used this time was... just pluck out a bunch until they look thinner. And then put eyebrow mascara on. AHA fail I hope that doesn't come back to haunt me. I imagine little eyebrow hairs will pop up and how the heck can i pluck all of them out again?? idk.. oh and also, is this weird? Everytime I pluck my eyebrows, i sneeze. It was so annoying... -pluck, sneeze, pluck, sneeze- like wtf? is that normal??

 Also, I'm finally gonna use double eyelid tape because I finally bought some that WORKS! Its this one here:

I think its some chinese brand called Sembem maybe? It was about 1$USD for 30 pairs! So cheap!! and they work super well. I don't think I'm ever going to go without double eyelid tape again cause its so amazing *__* makes my eyes look so much bigger because instead of double eyelids i have like triple LOL. Win! 

And, as planned, I DID MY NAILS! Yay so happy. And they're soooo gorgeous. Ready?!!

I freaking love them!! And they are inspired by the nails I posted yesterday :D Designed this set myself! I think the lady got annoyed with me though cause I was being super articulate and guess what, none of the nails are the same! Yep thats right, all 10 are different. ftw! 

Mmm and today for lunch, we ate some Thai food and look at the rice they gave us:

We also had like a salad type thing with salmon. Sooo gooooood~

Okay and I know I said I was going to do a haul after Bangkok but just in case I buy a lot when I go, I thought I'd just share the things that I've bought this week first :)

Tiara Earbuds:

These are so pretty *_* I saw them in Japan a few years ago but they were so expensive T_T But heh Thailand is major win at copying... (bad I know but okay not my fault! xD) This was about 6$USD

This is the Majolica Majorca Mascara in BK999- Glamour Volume On. I honestly have no freaking clue what possessed me to buy this. It was like 15$USD and I dont even use mascara! I hate it in fact because it is so freaking hard to get off and whatever if I just curl my lashes they usually just stayed curled throughout the day and blend in with my falsies. But seriously this was expensive! Eh maybe I'll just buy a better makeup remover and use it... LOL. As usual purchased at Watson's. 

Cute little mini ribbons! I love them, I've been wanting small ribbons to wear as a set in my hair for a while and these were nice. About 30 cents each :D

I went to Daiso to pick up some more nail glue (which I use to glue the chunky pieces to my nails and for deco). This is the kind I use by the way:

Hmm... I think its just Daiso brand but I'm not sure xD

And I also picked up this! So cute its a pink chocolate brush and you can put in on a keychain or something but its currently hanging on my phone haha.

Kay now some talk time!

So next month I am going to Singapore for a few days with my friend and her family. However it is with a tour so I'm not sure if it'll be fun or boring xD I've been to Singapore once before a few years ago but I was so emo then and didn't give a crap about anything, but this year I'm excited! I've been reading a lot of blogs and a lot of people who blog are from Singapore... LOL. So it makes me want to just go and see  what it's like, with open eyes this time. And on the last day we get to go shopping at Orchard! I hear there's a lot of good stuff :D I'm pretty excited about that~ But I don't know how long we will be able to shop for so I hope I get lucky and find some good stuff!
