Better late than never ^^;

Around this time last year (summertime, that is) I started really writing in this blog. I'm so sad that so far it seems that its been at the back of my mind lately and I haven't really taken the time to write in it. QQ probably no one even cares about or remembers me anymore.

BUT better late than never right?

I just took a trip to California last week and stayed for only 6 days. While I was there though I managed to snag up a few things! Mostly we were at the beach (which I will post pictures of later ^^) but we spent a few days in the city. I went to Little Tokyo! It was so cute and I've been there before but have never bought anything. There are so many makeup stores and stores with cute little Japanese things. I love love loved it!

The first thing I bought was a NYX eyeliner. I've been looking for a good liquid eyeliner ever since I ran out of the Dolly Wink one that I love and unfortunately used up :( I've tried many things from the E.L.F felt pen and liquid liner, Maybelline's Stiletto eyeliner, to NARS' eyeliner, but nothing has satisfied me! And I don't want to shell out 20 bucks for another Dollywink (even though I probably could have bought it for the money that I spent on the others that I've tried LOL). Anyway... I bought this one and I think its pretty good! It was $7.99 USD and its a waterproof, felt tip pen, liquid eyeliner. Its not very waterproof though... not at all actually. And when I take it off the residue is blue! How weird. But other wise it glides on pretty well which is really the winning factor for me. And its thick and doesn't look watery (unlike the Maybelline's stiletto and E.L.F liquid eyeliner). This is the eyeliner:

(omg please ignore the hair on my floor... gross lmfao)

The only other makeup product that I bought was a pair of Dolly Wink eyelashes No. 1. Of course everyone knows what these look like by now hopefully... lol but here they are anyway:

These are my favorite lashes I have ever worn! So soft and long and pretty... I just love them so much even though they are HELLA expensive. I bought these for $14.99 USD which is the cheapest I've ever seen them. Which is still a lot. You get 2 pairs though so thats at least a little better.

I did do a makeup look with these two products so here it is:

(This is like the only HD picture btw lol it was hard to get a good one so the rest are just self cams from my phone heehee)

For the eyes, I used the Naked palette from Urban Decay which is yes, the best eyeshadow palette in the whole entire world lol. The colors I used were Half Baked, Smog, and Darkhorse. I used half baked as the base and on the inner corner of the eyes, then smog on top of that and to blend, then darkhorse for the crease and along the bottom and outer corners.

Here's a closer look!

And here is a list of the other products that I used for my whole look (sorry that I don't have pictures!)

Face:
-KMA foundation powder
-MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Gold Deposit
-Bare Minerals bronzing mineral powder
-Sheercover Duo Concealer

Eyes:
-Naked by Urban Decay eyeshadow palette
-Mary Kay mascara
-NYX felt tip pen eyeliner
-Canmake Coloring Eyebrow in Honey Gold
-Dolly Wink eyelashes No.1
-Dolly Wink eyelashes No.5

-Sephora Ultra Shine lip gloss in Fresh Peach shimmery

And here are more pictures of the look:

Yes those were my "I'm trying to be sexy faces" hahaha. Now here's a smiley one :)

What do you think of the look? I was inspired by the new Happie Nuts magazine that I bought. Its for September 2012 ^^

I was blown away by how pretty and sexy Sayoko Ozaki looked omg she is so awesome! Here are some pictures of her that I love:

She's so pretty omg *_* I don't know if I can pull off the sexy look in real life though loool I come off as way too cutesy >w<

Okay thats it! I hope someone reads this lol.

Turquoise madness! Then mini rant xP

So it turns out that I not only jumped on the turquoise bandwagon, but I'm becoming a little crazy about it ahaha. Here is my makeup for today!

Its inspired by this pic of Mana Honda that I posted last time:
Whoohoo! More pics xD
Perfect to go with the pretty jewelry I just bought!

Here also, is my outfit of the day :)
Zoom up!
How I wore the rings:
Full outfit pics:
What do you think? And sorry, the only thing I can tell you about my outfit is that the jacket is Steve Madden. Because the rest is no brand :(

I also went shopping today and got a few things :)
This cute skirt was about 6$USD. Isn't is cuuutee? I haven't been in a skirt mood lately so I'm not sure when I'll get to wear it but I seriously just had to buy it xD

And then some nail polish! I'm going to paint my toes to match my new stuff. LOL. These are fake O.P.I nail polish and it kinda sucks, but it was only like a buck for a bottle so i bought it anyways xD

Next... is more jewelry xD I went with my mom this time and she convinced me to buy like everything. fml! But its pretty so thats okay :)
Necklace made from beads and a seashell. This was about 8$USD. I didn't think I was going to get it but my mom was like no, you HAVE to get it. Ahahaha I love my mom.
Turquoise beaded bracelet! This goes super well with the other bracelets that I bought, kind of like a "main" piece.  Now I have a full set! Necklace, rings, bracelet :D Too bad I don't wear earrings :/ This was about 5$ USD.
And omg, I went a little... ring crazy.
I wanted this red color because its such a nice contrast when worn with turquoise! I've seen some models   like Mana Honda and Ogihara Momoko
Never thought such two different and vivid colors would look so good next to each other!

Anyways, here's the rest:

And now, look at the ridiculous amount of new rings I have, bought in just 2 days. LOL

Okay and finally, Style Talk Time!

One thing that has always bothered me is how a lot of people attach meaning to everything. Like, if you wear flowers in your hair you are a hippie, or if you wear a mini skirt you a slut, and if you wear crosses you are religious. Um... no. Its a thing called fashion. I've been called out for this so many times, and it seriously is starting to bother me.  When I was in middle school, sometimes people talked behind my back because I liked wearing pretty short skirts. But okay that was just the style! I wore plaid skirts and high knee socks, because I liked that like, anime school girl style. LOL.
I also wear a lot of crosses because I think they are pretty! A lot of pretty jewelry have crosses on them, and no i'm not religious. I'm not even of that religion. I just think they are pretty! Is that a big deal? Like I started wearing cross earrings and necklaces because they looked good on DBSK and it was fashionable. One time in class we were sharing papers, and a kid in my group wrote about how he doesn't believe in the whole idea of "God". He read his paper to our group of like 5 kids and at the end we were supposed to share our opinions. I liked his paper and he looked at me surprised, telling me that he "thought that I'd be offended" because he thought I was religious, judging from the amount of cross earrings I was wearing that day. I'm not sure if its wrong or right to be using symbols for fashion, but either way it already exists in fashion so instead of being a against it, why not just accept it? Positivity is better than negativity anyways, right?
Here are some pictures of how crosses are really in:

Pretty right? And thats just it, its just pretty. I know some people wear crosses and mini skirts because the are religious or sluts or whatever (ahaha never thought I'd compare those two things) but my point is- not everything has a meaning attached to it.

Sorry, just gotta get that off my mind. And also, I really want one of those long cross necklaces like Mana is wearing in that third pic! So pretty haha.

Ahaha oops I just found pics on my ipod too... yeah i'll post them xD

Yeah okay I know, vain vain vain but whatever! lol wow also these remind me of this Nonoka Iwata pic :O
Cept she looks like a gorgeous doll ahhh *jealous*

Okay yes, that's all! Thanks for reading~ I hope I didn't bore you too much lol.

Another haul, and style talk! (WARNING long and image heavy!)

Since all I've been doing is shopping.. here's yet ANOTHER shopping haul.. LOL.  Without further ado, here they are!

First is my favorite! Its this really cute floral peachy/pink and white dress. It is pretty short, going above my knees by like 2 inches or so. I love this because of the cute flowers, frilly design and of course, the bow! This was about 13$.

This is another jacket/cardigan type thing. About 6$! Its got cute pink studs and bows which gives it like a mixture of edge/cute! :)

This is a mid length pink cardigan that I got for about 9$. Its got lace up and down where the two sides meet and it's absolutely adorable!

This denim looking jacket is AMAZING and since denim is in, I just HAD to have it! It pretty much goes with both the cute girly style and a more adult or edgy style. This was about 6$ :P

This top was about 15$ and sooo cute. Its pretty long too, and really really cute with shorts. I love that the little floral vest-like part just gives it a nice pop of color and i love the vest look!

This dress was about 6$. Its lace and a nice light pink color :)

I didn't buy this belt, but my mom had it! So of course I took it… LOL. Its so cute to wear around the waist (or hips, it stretches!). And it's pink and white so of course I was like 'MINE!' hahaha

And of course, I have a terrible weakness for bows so here are 2 more that I bought for my hair :)

Also I'm trying to find cheap lashes that I really like and found these ones at the mall. I'm not sure where anyone could get them besides here… (maybe internet?) so I'm not sure how helpful a review would be to anyone, but I'll give some of my thoughts quickly anyways.

This first one is from LaLawish, which I've never heard of, but eh! It was really cheap- two pars for about 2 or 3$, so I decided to try. I wore the first pair once already and didn't like it that much. It was very plastic-y and hard so they didn't feel natural or comfortable at all :/

The next one is Gino McCray ProLash, which I bought from Beauty Buffet (which I think is pretty popular here in Thailand). Its very comfortable and I LOVE the style of the lashes. The only thing is that I've only worn them like twice and I don't think I'll be able to wear them again. They were also normal priced, about 3 or 4$ so it wasn't like a deal or anything :( But still, good, comfortable lashes!

And the last one is Preciosa EyeLash Rose, which I haven't tried yet LOL. its got Korean writing on it though so I'm going to assume its from Korea :P They don't look like they'll be all that comfortable, but it was only like 1.50$ or something like that so I decided I'd give them a try anyways :)

Wow so my post doesn't even end here. I also wanted to talk about a more adult looking style because for some reason I've been freaking out about getting older, even though I'm only 19! (but rounded, that is 20!!) I've also been reading a lot of ViVi, Ray and this month's issue of Scawaii happened to feature a more adult look style.

I really like this, but I'm afraid to wear it, lol. It feels like I'm giving up my cuteness and childhood! But nevertheless, I still wanted to try so here is what I look like with an older style?

Definitely feel like I've dressed down, but I like the look. If only I were sexy though... LOL. I also think I huge part of this look is not to have bangs. It makes you look like... older and sexier haha. But I seriously NEED my bangs! My forehead is so gross -.-

Seriously though. I'm going to spam you with some sexy gyaru pics now ;)

Kay thats it.. (LOL after that long-ass post). Thanks to anyone that reads!! Please comment as well :)

Thanks again!
